We’re excited to offer a powerful new After-School Program and Saturday School Tutoring Academy designed to give students targeted academic support in small groups.

Beginning January 29, 2026, students will receive:

Kevin Gomez is in Mr. Bolsch’s Drone Technology 1 Class. Mr. Bolsch writes, “Kevin is an exemplary student-athlete with a GPA of over 3.4. He models respect & professionalism in everything he does. He plays football, runs track, and wrestles.” Kevin aspires to play football after graduation and eventually become a coach.

We commend Kevin for his hard work and hope the community gets to know him better as he approaches graduation and explores opportunities here in Jasper County. Keep up the great work, Kevin! Thanks for being a leader!

After learning about financial literacy concepts such as income, taxes, savings, and budgeting in class, students visit the JA Finance Park® simulation. They work with volunteers to practice what they have learned by making decisions about how to spend and save in 20 areas. By the end of the experience, they will have created and followed a monthly budget and will understand how to reach their financial goals while living within their means.

We celebrated my office professional on Tuesday, April 29th. I'm so very grateful for Mrs. Azaviea Marshall. She keeps us together and works tirelessly to ensure both my students and staff have everything we need.

Due to the forecast of very high winds up to 50 MPH during the morning hours, which is problematic for bus travel, and potential for tornados tomorrow, we will be canceling school and all afternoon activities for Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Due to the forecasted winter storm and the potential for ice and snow accumulation, Jasper County School District will hold a half-day session on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. All evening athletic activities will be rescheduled for a later date.

Shakeria Grant is a dedicated senior at Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence, currently participating in our dual enrollment program. Shakeria plans to major in Early Childhood Education and is working towards becoming CNA certified as she strives to be a Health Science completer in our CTE Program. Shakeria is known for her outstanding work, leadership, commitment, and achievements. She also owns the title Miss RSAE 24-25 , as she embodies leadership and school spirit. During her free time, she pursues her passion for hair and enjoys watching documentaries, fueling her curiosity and love for learning. Shakeria is also a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at TCL, showcasing her commitment to academic excellence and community involvement. With her talents and determination, Shakeria is set to make a positive impact both in and out of the classroom. Congratulation on all your accomplishments Shakeria!
