my name is Lucille cannock and I am one of the information technology cluster teachers here at the new Jasper County K-8 Center my pathway is information support and services so what do we do in this pathway we install and repair Computing devices we install Hardware peripherals and twitching I need your input processing output and storage devices we also installed system and application software because without them your Computing devices will not work the certification for computer repair and service includes on Kia and test out currently we are using testout simulation in this virtual environment because it allows students to repair and install hardware and software virtually in our pathway computer repair and service is just like a plumber we need to have our tools s*** and these are some of the tools that you will be using to work safely around computers and if you would just view some of the tool that we will be using so all of these issues will have their individual toolkit so that they will be able to repair any issues that the computer may have what I am going to share share with you is there on simulation that we are currently using which is passed out passed out is the virtual simulation program that we are currently using and this virtual environment so that I'll students can act install and repair computers for the first simulation that we have here suppose that you are it administrator for a small corporate Network and you just received a new computer and you I need to set it up in your office so they will have the shelves where they have all the peripheral devices that you would need to install which includes the printer to have the outlet the monitors input devices as well as all the cables that you need to install the computer and I believe that this is a wonderful simulation so that when you when we get face-to-face and you at actually putting a computer together you would not have any issues and this is our test out simulation I would like to thank Aspen County for offering this pathway information supports and services to the here in Jasper County so that they can become an integral part of the workforce to come
