hello and welcome to aerospace engineering my name is Doctor Terry Grant Robinson and I'm your aerospace engineering instructor today I'm going to take you through what we do here in our Aerospace class we have the opportunity to work with aircraft Aviation science and designing aircraft parts and our mission is to create these parts we can apply them to an aircraft we work with the engineering design process where we identified the problem look for criteria and constraints and then we experiment after analyzing our data are here to make sure that you can apply the aerodynamic Aviation Mission so that we can create other aircraft come along and I'll show you what we do our students have the opportunity to visit the Iroquois here in Ridgeland where they get to work with a pilot in identifying Parts on the aircraft they get to visit sit in the plain talk about the parts and also analyze different areas in the airport here you see us working on it putting together the projects that we have using are Catskills so that we can 5 all of our skills in building depart so you might see us outside flying a drone or you might see us outside actually building some part of the aircraft and that's what we do some of your certifications that you'll receive in aerospace engineering are aircraft dispatcher aviation maintenance GSI technology traffic controller CAD designer lab you Associates sold to some of the stuff that you walk away with when you leave our program when you are ready to enroll contact your guidance department and let them know that you have an interest aerospace engineering we look forward to seeing you enrolled in our class
